The coffee shop has been rammed lately. Loads of people have been celebrating their A-level and GCSE results and there's quite a buzz around, although you do get the sense it's been tougher to get uni places this year.

Don't you reckon the summer's just flown by? - well, I say summer, but the weather seems to have skipped a season lately! It would have been nice to have got away for a holiday somewhere with golden sands but guess Donny will have to do for the time being at least!

Actually, that gives me a genius idea If I can't get to the seaside, I'll bring it to me before the end of the season: A Bank Holiday 'day at the beach' in the back yard complete with sand and ice cream. I'm going to put a postcard on the fridge door tonight telling all the housemates that I'm wishing they'll be there'.
