Mikey was at the café today. I introduced him to Floss who, like every girl he comes into contact with, seems well charmed by him. After he’d left, she was asking me questions: where does he work and how come we ended up sharing a place together?

It’s a bit of a tricky one. I really like Floss and I know she’s really sensitive so I’m not sure if she should be getting involved with a lad like Mikey. And I also don’t want him to mess up again when he seems to be getting himself straightened out.

Then again, is it right for me to interfere in their lives?

Get clued-up:

The emotional and physical consequences of drinking alcohol can be more serious at an early age than for adults.

Tough action is taken to stop teenagers gathering in public places to drink and illegally buying alcohol from shops and off-licenses.
If you are over 18 and drinking, you should never exceed recommended daily limits. These are three to four units of alcohol per day for men and two to three units of alcohol per day for women.
